On-Campus Student Employment Application

Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB) is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees. We do not discriminate or tolerate harassment in our programs or activities on the basis of gender, race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, family medical history, political affiliation, military service, or any other non-merit-based factors.

CCCB Student Worker Policy

Central Christian College of the Bible desires to educate students in the process of seeking and holding a job while also providing opportunities for on-campus employment. Because these positions are limited, students who wish to pursue student employment must meet the following minimum criteria. Specific job descriptions may include additional requirements.

  • Be currently enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours with CCCB or in an approved partnership degree program.
  • Preference may be given to residential students.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher for undergraduate students and 2.5 or higher for master’s students.
  • Students placed on academic warning or probation must agree to allow their supervisors to be notified of their academic status.
  • Be in good standing with CCCB’s Code of Conduct.
  • Students under disciplinary sanctions must agree to inform, or allow notification of, their supervisors.
  • Freshmen and transfer students are accepted based on their incoming academic information.
  • Student workers are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher may request approval to exceed this limit by completing the Student Employee Above 20 Hours Request Form and receiving written permission. International students are limited to 20 hours per week in accordance with SEVIS regulations. Academic or disciplinary status may result in ineligibility for student employment; if an exception is granted, scheduled hours may be limited or reduced.
  • CCCB maintains a three-day no-call, no-show policy. Missing three consecutive scheduled days without communication may result in termination at the discretion of the supervisor.
  • Students may appeal eligibility determinations or supervisory decisions by contacting the Student Worker Committee at [email protected].
  • Student workers are exempt from Medicare and Social Security taxes while enrolled at least half-time (six credit hours) through CCCB. Any school break longer than five weeks without current enrollment requires the student to pay Medicare and Social Security taxes.
