Leeton Christian Church is a non-denominational, Restoration movement congregation. Prior to the Covid pandemic the average worship attendance was between 130 to 140. Attendance now is around 80. So, there is the potential for real growth. We also have a weekly viewership on Facebook of the worship services that averages between 100 to 170 viewers.
For over 100 years, Leeton Christian Church has worshiped our Heavenly Father and His Son, whose love endures forever. We are a fellowship of the imperfect desiring to grow spiritually and thus become more effective servants within His Kingdom. This fellowship of believers is committed to the principle that the unity of Christians comes through common devotion and obedience to the Lord. The Bible, the record of God’s self-revelation in His Son, is our only rule of discipline, doctrine, and devotion. Our preaching and teaching centers in Jesus Christ.
We are seeking a minister to serve either in a full-time or part-time capacity. This man must exhibit a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have a heart that is deeply concerned for the eternal state of mankind. Thus, he must have a passion for evangelism, preaching, teaching, and outreach.
Along with the Elders, Deacons, and members of the congregation, he must:
- Live a life of faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God
- Believe in the necessity of repentance of sins in the believer’s life
- Lead the non-believer to confession of Christ as their personal Lord and Savior
- Preach/practice that immersion is the only Biblical form of baptism
- Live, teach, and preach that continual obedience to God’s will is the revealed expectation for the Christian life.
Compensation/Benefits
- Salary will be commensurate with education level and experience
- Paid vacation and holidays
- Business mileage reimbursement
- Reimbursement for approved Professional Growth expenses
