Objective:
To serve as the Worship Leader for Ross Christian Church, fostering an atmosphere of authentic worship that glorifies God and encourages congregational participation.
Position Type:
Part-time (approximately 6–12 hours per week, with flexibility based on the availability of the selected candidate).

Senior Minister
Responsibilities:
1. Worship Service Planning and Leadership
- Plan, prepare, and lead engaging worship services that glorify God and align with biblical principles and the vision of Ross Christian Church.
- Select and arrange appropriate worship songs that complement the message and church mission.
- Lead rehearsals and provide guidance to worship team members to ensure spiritual and musical preparedness.
- Coordinate multimedia, lighting, sound, and other elements to enhance the worship experience.
2. Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers for the worship team, including vocalists, instrumentalists, and technicians.
- Provide spiritual encouragement, mentorship and leadership development for team members.
- Foster a culture of unity, excellence, and humility within the worship ministry.
3. Spiritual Leadership
- Model a mature Christian faith and a lifestyle that reflects biblical values.
- Lead the congregation in meaningful worship experiences grounded in Scripture.
- Collaborate with the Senior Minister to ensure that worship aligns with the church’s theology, mission, and values.
4. Administrative Oversight
- Develop and manage the worship ministry budget.
- Organize and maintain worship resources such as chord charts, lyrics, Multitracks arrangements and planning center software.
- Ensure compliance with copyright and licensing regulations for music and media (e.g., CCLI).
- Work with the team to maintain worship-related equipment and ensure it remains in good working order.
5. Special Services and Events
- Plan and lead worship for special services, including holidays, weddings, funerals, and church events (based on the availability).
- Collaborate with other church ministries (e.g., youth, children’s, outreach) to integrate worship into their programs as needed.
Qualifications:
- A mature and growing faith in Jesus Christ.
- Experience leading worship in a church setting with the ability to engage and lead a congregation.
- Strong vocal and instrumental proficiency (guitar, piano/keyboard, or other).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and develop volunteers in both musical and production roles.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, and the broader church body.
- Familiarity with worship planning tools, sound systems, and presentation software (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter, MultiTracks).
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Worship Leader, Worship Minister, or similar role.
- A degree (completed or in progress) in Worship Arts, Music, Theology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
