Youth Minister

The Pricetown Church of Christ in Highland County, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Youth Minister to guide and nurture our youth, from toddlers through high school seniors.

We are a congregation of 225-250 weekly attendees, including a junior church program and a wee worship program with a total of 65-75 young people each Sunday. We also have a preschool "Kids Zone" for 3-4-year-olds that meets once a week during the school year. We have been a beacon of light to the community for nearly 170 years, offering a variety of youth programs and activities, as well as partnering with another local Church of Christ for after-school Bible studies for elementary, junior high, and high school students.

Job Description

The Youth Minister will be responsible for:

• Guiding youth in spiritual development and biblical knowledge Mentoring future church leaders Promoting community and relationship-building among youth
• Organizing youth programs and events that align with the church’s mission
• Utilizing social media to connect with youth and promote church activities
• Performing additional tasks as assigned by church elders

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the Church of Christ’s teachings, experience in youth ministry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with and lead young people
• Proficiency in social media and digital communication is also required
• Salary is dependent on experience, education background, and other life circumstances
