Dr. Kregg Hood is a national leader in stewardship-related ministry efforts that help Christians give, save, spend, and invest their financial resources according to biblical principles. His books and teaching programs on tithing and Christian financial wisdom have been used in more than 4,200 churches across the country.
Dr. Hood’s extensive congregational ministry includes leading two large churches as senior minister in Texas and Oklahoma as well as serving as a staff minister at megachurches in Texas and Illinois. His business experience includes executive leadership with Christian nonprofits, Christian publishing, and as an executive coach for a variety of secular corporations. Early in his career, Kregg also ministered in Ireland for almost two years.
Kregg earned his doctorate in instructional communication from Texas Tech University. He also holds two master’s degrees from Abilene Christian University, one in preaching and another in missions. His undergraduate degree from Harding University included majors in Bible, biblical languages, and mathematics.
Kregg is also a frequent guest preacher in churches around the country and a contributor to a wide variety of Christian magazines and newsletters. He and his wife make their home in the DFW Metroplex.
